Ahhhhhh!!!

Even if Stressed is Desserts backwards.... bloody, just ahhhhhh.
We all seem to be in a bit of a panic about our exam results- due to some stupid rumours and anatomy demonstrators with a squewed sense of humour.... plus the minitest results are still not ready- and our demonstrator said that they didn't go well either. Never mind, I guess only time will tell!
Well, this week is a bit hard, on top of quite an intense one last week- we started at 9am and finished at 6pm every day, and it is similar this week too- but the content is horrible too, with loads of DRE (digestive renal and endocrine) - nowhere near as nice as cardiovascular.... we have also started respiratory- which is near impossible, we have been given the handouts, and it's just as well, because the professor gets on stage, motors on at about a million miles an hour about this curve and that, and it's soon over before you even wrote and underlined the date! I am sure we will all grasp it eventually (either that or this batch of Dr's are not going to be too great at respiratory medicine!).
It was, however, really nice to be home at the weekend. having had enough with the battle against the filth of my flatmates and certainly enough anatomy and DRE I just went home and did nothing productive the whole time. I took my two lovely dogs on a couple of walks, helped paint the hallway (a little) and drank wine (hmmm, a little?). So I should be greatful really- and I am. Plus we have Firm 1 this week- which should prove a light release from the normal lectures.
Still no hockey, as I was stupid enough to injure my foot a few weeks ago and it is slow to recover, but I shall go to the pub for the post-training drinking though. Oh that reminds me- I have just paid a painful £100 deposit for the summer hockey trip to Spain (TONNES of FUN!) but I will have to be careful this month. Which is a shame because there is a trip to Edinburgh this weekend, which sounds really good...
What else...... ummmm not too sure really, I got another book through, by one of the professors here actually- Renal Physiology, looks interesting (who am I kidding), something to look forward to though.
Well I ought to wash up after my tea now, bye!
D
