Going Back

This coming Saturday shall be when I return to Uni. THe course doesn't start until the 2nd of October but I want to go back to see my friends and enjoy Fresher's week all over again- yes I know that I am no longer a Fresher... but that is a mear technicality. I move into my house with a couple of very good friends on Saturday too- I can't wai... especaill as I haven't seen the majority of my freinds much over the summer holiday as most of them have either been busy working (like me) or traveling (lucky sods!).
A huge piece of great news: Last year the whole of the 1st year medics were tought BLS (basic life support- a dummed down first aid) by second year. This year my year will be tought advanced life support- ALS (a glorified first aid.. I think we get to use drugs too). But we were given the opportunity to apply to teach the new 1st years- highly sought after posts, and as there are about 40 posts to 400 medical students I was so happy when I got the email to tell me that I got one of them!!!
Another fantastic piece of news- I have tickets to see the Fratellis who are going to play at my Guild (union) in October!
I still feel that there is something I have forgotten, not prepared for... but I can't think of what it is. I haven't even packed yet but have got in mind what I need to take- but it doesn't seem like enough- or anywhere near as much as I took last year. Mainly I just can't wait, I am so excited!!!!!!!
